Blue Lake House is a spacious villa with gorgeous views over Castelo de Bode Lake. The house is equipped to comfortably accommodate 8 people; it has 3 bedrooms, one en suite, and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living room has a rustic fireplace and a generous balcony over the lake. Outside is a barbecue area. Blue Lake House offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property, cable TV and streaming channels, and social games to liven up your evenings. You can also enjoy an invigorating sauna, a gym, and a saltwater pool.

A Nature & Water Sports Paradise.

With an excellent location in front of the Nautical Club Lago Azul, next to the Wakeboard Cable Park, and 5 minutes' walk from the Lago Azul River Beach, its location allows several activities related to water sports: water skiing, wakeboarding, jet-skiing, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, sport fishing, boat trips, and, of course, swimming. Nearby, there are several facilities to enjoy true moments of leisure and well-being with your family and friends: 5 wakeboard cable parks, 2 nautical clubs, 10 river beaches, 5 canoe routes, and 60 km of pure fun.

And if you like outdoor activities, there are pleasant hikes available for all levels, from the easiest and most suitable routes for the whole family to the most difficult trails for experienced enthusiasts.

“Blue Lake House is idyllic. The house is superbly positioned overlooking the lake. The view is breathtaking, the expanse of mountains and water is immense. The house is very comfortable with a great lot of thought and care gone into making it easy and comfortable to enjoy. The kitchen is well laid out and catered for. The bathrooms are fabulous, great showers heated with solar energy. The air conditioning was very welcome given the high temperatures. The terrace is wonderful for early morning breakfast watching the sun come up and evenings watching the moon over the Azul Lago. We were lucky with a full moon. Bbq terrace also. Plenty of space and very cool interiors. We had intended to discover the area but everything we needed was on our doorstep. There is a fabulous floating pontoon a short walk from the house. There is a wakeboarding station just beyond this, our kids (14, 12 and 10) loved this. Club Náutico is just the other side of the bay 2km away. We hired a boat from here and a Ringo and had a blast on the water. We self-catered very happily using the bbq, it was too beautiful to leave in the evenings. There is an Intermarche and a very good Mini Preço in Ferreira do Zêzere. We had a great lunch at Xavi’s on our first day before arriving at the property. A 3-day break here exceeded expectations. We fell in love with the area and the house both are hidden gems. Can’t wait to return soon. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Paulo and Paula. You are so welcoming.”

Estadia a repetir! Excelente localização, limpeza fora de série, casa bem equipada com todas as comodidades, inclusivamente a cozinha. Sauna e pequeno ginásio muito acolhedores e de qualidade. Adorei a cadeira baloiço, mesmo em frente à albufeira, local incrível para leitura e meditação.

This place is an amazing get away in a beautiful and still fairly unknown part of Portugal. We loved the stunning view over the Lake, the fireplace, the great kitchen - everything you need is here. And it was comfortable even in winter. Paolo made great suggestions for food and sights and was the perfect host host. We would love to come back.

within 50 km, the Almourol Castle, a medieval castle which sits at the top of the islet of Almourol, in the middle of the Tagus River. The castle was part of the defensive line controlled by the Knights Templar, and a stronghold used during the Portuguese Reconquista.
